<image:caption>These experiences have grown into a professional passion for applying this knowledge to support women and girls as they journey through various life stages and circumstances. I meet you where you are (focusing on the emotional, cognitive, and physiological factors impacting your experiences). One of my favorite methods is Solution Focused Therapy. I want to learn about how you see your life if your current circumstances where different. We then do the work in-between to get you to that vision. I am also a lifelong learner and I enjoy constantly updating my “tool-box” with techniques to best help my clients. There is no one size fits all style in therapy; I never enjoyed receiving “textbook” therapy so I believe in also just being present and genuine and my clients have found me to be relatable and easy to talk to</image:caption>

      <image:title>Services - How I can help you …</image:title>
<image:caption>My passion is helping highly motivated women overcome feelings of anxiety and build confidence. It is important to me that you are able to tell your story so we can develop a plan together that is unique to you to meet your goals. What is my perception of a highly motivated woman? I envision this woman to be driven, trusted by others, focused and either have or want to have great confidence. They desire greater life satisfaction; they desire health and healing and dream of endless possibilities. These are women who want something more for their lives, they are doers and sometimes competitive. They put a lot of pressure on themselves to always play the part. That is all awesome, but let’s be real – behind the get it done personality, there are also factors that affect women disproportionately both sociocultural and socioeconomic. A study from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) found that women are more likely to experience mental health concerns such as depression or anxiety and also experience mental distress at higher rates than men do in all age brackets. So even the most highly motivated woman needs someone to talk to and some help.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Home - I’m glad you are here …</image:title>
<image:caption>I am a therapist providing virtual psychotherapy in North Carolina. My passion is helping women manifest and live the life they desire. Life happens to the best of us and as a result, health, relationships and overall satisfaction with life start to suffer. We can find ourselves living in the shadows of our own lives for years. What do you believe about yourself that causes you to remain stuck in that job, the relationship or even stuck in your own way? Whether you need to get past a rough patch or develop a long-term success plan, it’s important to explore core beliefs and build upon strategies that will help you when life happens, as it will. Whatever your goals are, I am here to encourage you, give you real tools (not advice) with a dose of keeping it real. I hope you know that your current situation does not have to be your final story! I would love to help you navigate through these feelings and challenges. Just have a little hope. Be consistent with your therapy. Do the work in and outside of sessions and surely, you will start to feel thankful and excited about your life!</image:caption>

      <image:title>Home - Healthy Relationships</image:title>
<image:caption>Our relationships from childhood form patterns for how we navigate adult relationships with colleagues, family, children and intimate partners. Trusting and forming attachments to other people may be particularly challenging. You cannot change the chaos experienced in childhood or in adult relationships, but in therapy, you have a safe space to process your feelings and experiences and learn ways to create opportunities to learn to trust and bond with others. Exploring the relationship you have with yourself first will help you to understand what you are able to control, communicating your needs, conflict resolution, and enjoying healthy intimate relationships as well as fulfilling friendships and family life.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Home - Live Authentically</image:title>
<image:caption>The term “imposter syndrome” has been making rounds lately. You may feel that the way others see you, is not necessarily how you feel about yourself. The anxiety of meeting new people, not feeling good enough or smart enough. You may be feeling exhausted at the end of the day from feeling like you’re “faking it.” Whether that belief is true or not; if it is too heavy for you, then something needs to change. You can work on your sense of self-worth to live fully and authentically. You are not required to be perfect to be happy. Think about what it would look like to just look at your life, as it is, and begin the process of acceptance in a non-judgmental space so you can be the most genuine version of yourself possible.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Home - Invest in yourself</image:title>
<image:caption>Therapy isn’t forever but the investment you make by showing up and being real about where you are hurting, what you want, any shame or guilt you may be carrying is liberating. Even better, you do not have to do it alone. It doesn’t matter what culture you’re from, your age, or how you identify yourself; the fact that you are here, in this moment, reading this and contemplating therapy is the beginning of investing in yourself. Depending on your upbringing and life events, you may have learned to believe that you should just keep quiet and deal with challenges in isolation. If you engage in your therapy in a meaningful way, you will see changes in your life that you can count on. Even if you do not know what to say exactly, when you are ready, help is a message away</image:caption>
